PRCA Africa announces PR World Cup competition

PRCA Africa has launched the PR World Cup - the African region qualifier competition for the ICCO Next Generation PR World Cup 2022 – with a registration deadline by 2nd October and early bird fees until 9th September.

The PR World Cup gives rising PR professionals from around the world a platform to exercise and showcase creative excellence through powerful PR and Communications work.

The contest requires teams of two agency, in-house, or freelance PR professionals under the age of 35 as of 1st July 2022. A brief will be set by the PRCA Africa’s Charity Partner (to be revealed later) who will act as the client, and participating teams will be given 48 hours to create a campaign. The winning team will then go on to compete in the Global competition.

Key dates:

  • Early ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ bird fee deadline: 9th September
  • Registration ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ deadline: 2nd October

Prices include the opportunity to participate in the ICCO Summit 2023, discuss the implementation of the idea to an NGO, and join exclusive ‘Global PR Youth Board’ within ICCO.

PRCA Launches Simplified and Strengthened Code for Professional Lobbying
The Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA) has today issued its new Code for Professional Lobbying, marking a major step forward in promoting ethical, transparent, and accountable lobbying across the UK. The Office of the Registrar of Consultant Lobbyists (ORCL) has approved this new Code as meeting its requirements to be a “relevant Code.”
