PRCA announces Structured Mediation as its Civil Mediation Partner

The Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA) has today announced Structured Mediation as its Civil Mediation Partner for the next 12 months.

Structured Mediation is a new service designed for the PR and creative industries, offering sector-specific expertise to resolve disputes without resorting to the courts. It provides a constructive way forward for agencies, production companies, and clients where work has been co-created and disagreements arise.

As part of the partnership, PRCA members will benefit from a free 30-minute consultation with Structured Mediation, valid until the end of December 2025.

PRCA CEO Sarah Waddington CBE said:

"Our industry is built on collaboration, but that doesn’t mean disputes never happen. Having a trusted mediation partner like Structured Mediation gives our members an option to resolve challenges quickly and constructively, without the costs and consequences of going through the courts. We’re delighted to welcome them as our civil mediation partner for the year ahead."

Structured Mediation Founder, Nigel Sarbutts said:

“Disputes in PR & comms often involve work that has been co-created by parties who started out with shared aims and centres on highly subjective terms like ‘vision’ or ‘ambition’. With decades of experience in the PR industry I can help both sides untangle that complexity and reach an agreement that avoids the enormous cost and emotional drain of legal proceedings. I’m delighted to be partnering with the PRCA to save members time, money and sleepless nights.”
