PRCA extends Asia Pacific footprint with PublicAffairsAsia partnership
The Public Relations and Communications Association Asia Pacific (PRCA APAC) has agreed to manage and drive the development of the PublicAffairsAsia Gold Standard Awards and the Corporate Affairs Forum for the next two years.
The new partnership strengthens the PRCA support for strategic corporate and public affairs professionals across the Asia-Pacific region. This builds on PRCA APAC’s recent expansion in the region with the launch of PRCA Vietnam and PRCA Thailand.
PRCA APAC will work with PublicAffairsAsia to deliver the flagship corporate affairs awards and annual conference programmes. Now in its 14th year, The Gold Standard Awards identify and showcase excellence in corporate public affairs, strategic communications, citizenship and stakeholder engagement. The Corporate Affairs Forum is an annual interactive conference designed for C Suite professionals in public affairs, communications and corporate affairs.
PRCA Director General Francis Ingham MPRCA said:
“Allying the PRCA’s unparalleled experience of association management with PublicAffairsAsia’s local network and innovative programmes is a positive development for the public affairs industry across the Asia Pacific region. Collectively, we will address the challenges and opportunities facing the region’s public affairs industry and champion its valuable contribution to public life.”
Mark O’Brien, Vice-President of PublicAffairsAsia, said:
“Since 2008 PubiicAffairsAsia has developed a reputation for leading edge events and developed the most widely respected awards programme in the region. It is exciting that the next phase in its development will be driven in collaboration with the PRCA APAC. We look forward to announcing more details on the programme soon.”
