PRCA Fellows’ Update

One of the PRCA’s strategic objectives, as per our Vision, Mission and Values published in January 2025, is Inclusive by default. A key part of our mission is to ensure diverse representation at the highest levels.

Following this week’s meeting of the Membership Committee to consider Fellowship applications, it has been decided that further work is needed to make this accreditation more accessible to the wide array of talent of all ages and backgrounds, within the PRCA’s UK and global membership.

A working group has been set up to make the necessary recommendations ahead of their adoption at the AGM this September.

The group is being led by the Chair of the Membership Committee, and PRCA Vice President, Charles Lewington, supported by the Chair of Fellows Alison Clarke, PRCA CEO Sarah Waddington CBE and James Crawford, a member of the Membership Committee.

One of the key priorities for the group will be to define and formalise the current criteria for Fellowship, to ensure the process is transparent, inclusive and fair. Their work will also include making the criteria more overt and opening up nominations from a wider group of senior leaders.

We look forward to reporting on progress and being able to confirm and celebrate the achievements of our newest Fellows by the end of 2025.
