PRCA launches ‘25 for 2025’ campaign to celebrate volunteer contributions

The Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA) has launched ‘25 for 2025,’ a new initiative celebrating the valuable contributions of volunteers across its boards, groups, and committees.

These individuals play a key role in advancing the industry, helping the PRCA to fulfill its goals of advocating for the industry, promoting innovation and supporting professional growth.

‘25 for 2025’ will celebrate 25 remarkable volunteers whose contributions have made a meaningful difference, whether newly involved, long-term volunteers or based in the UK or internationally.

Key dates:

  • From today until 7th March 2025: Nominations open. Volunteers can nominate themselves or others who have made a significant impact. Nominate now.
  • 2nd April 2025: PRCA Member Drinks event. Certificates will be presented to the honourees in recognition of their contributions.
  • 20th – 26th April 2025: National Volunteer Week celebrations. PRCA will spotlight the 25 selected volunteers across its platforms.

PRCA encourages all members involved in its boards, groups, and committees to participate and ensure that dedicated volunteers receive the recognition they deserve.

PRCA Interim CEO, Sarah Waddington CBE, said:

"Volunteers are the backbone of our organisation, their dedication and expertise help drive the organisation and therefore in turn the industry forward.

“‘25 for 2025’ is more than just a celebration—it’s a testament to the power of collective effort and the profound impact that these dedicated individuals make. Please do get involved and nominate now.”
