PRCA launches Business Advisory Service connecting members with senior industry expertise

The Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA) has launched a new Business Advisory Service, offering agency and in-house members access to confidential, senior-level advice from experienced PRCA Fellows.

The service connects founders, board-level agency leaders and in-house management practitioners with senior public relations professionals, providing tailored support on strategic, commercial, marketing and people-related challenges. Each engagement consists of up to two one-hour sessions delivered over a three-month period.

Designed as a high-value member benefit, the programme draws on the expertise of the PRCA Fellowship while creating a structured opportunity for Fellows to give back to the industry. Participation is voluntary, with light-touch governance in place to ensure quality, confidentiality and alignment with PRCA values.

Fellows who have signed up for the service all meet designated criteria for the programme based on qualifications and industry experience and will be allocated according to relevance to member need.

The Business Advisory Service forms part of the PRCA’s wider commitment to supporting leadership, professional development and sustainable growth across the communications industry.

Chair of PRCA Fellows, Alison Clarke, said:

“I’m delighted that the extensive experience of Fellows can be harnessed in this way to support members and help them drive better, more successful businesses and departments.

“The PRCA Fellows cohort represents some of the finest talent and experience in the industry and they are delighted to be able to give back to the sector that helped shape their success.”

PRCA CEO, Sarah Waddington CBE, said:

“We may be in a challenging economic climate but there is a significant growth opportunity for public relations. As such, our focus is on equipping members with the skills, information and capabilities they need to innovate and thrive. It’s fantastic we can draw on the significant experience of our Fellows to provide this Business Advisory Service and I’m grateful for their support as the PRCA pushes forward with our shared goal of building the industry of the future here and now.”
