PRCA launches the Sustainability Group to Drive Collaboration and Best Practice
The Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA) has today announced launch of the Sustainability Group. The PRCA Sustainability Group is an expansion of previous working groups that reaffirms the industry’s commitment to fostering responsible, transparent, and effective sustainability communications.
The Group builds on previous work in this area and further drives collaborating with PRCA members and the industry at large. The Group committee, consisting of PRCA members, aims to go deeper and broader to ensure the PR industry has a forum for driving standards, commitments and ethics in sustainability.
The PRCA Sustainability Group will act as a collaborative platform for PR professionals across sectors, equipping them with the knowledge, tools, and guidance to communicate sustainability strategies with clarity and credibility. By facilitating shared learning, promoting transparency, and establishing best-practice frameworks, the PRCA Sustainability Group aims to raise the standards of sustainability communication across the industry.
The group will bring together practitioners from diverse backgrounds to exchange insights, develop actionable guidelines, and address the evolving challenges of communicating complex climate driven issues.
The announcement is heralded with the news that Terri Bloore, Managing Partner, Corporate & Financial Services at FINN Partners will join as Co-Chair of the PRCA Sustainability Group.
