PRCA Southeast Europe Network launches landmark research to assess the state of the PR landscape across the region

The Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA) Southeast Europe Network, is proud to announce the launch of its first comprehensive research study aimed at evaluating the current state of the PR landscape across the Southeast Europe region.

This ground breaking research initiative, undertaken by the PRCA Southeast Europe Network in collaboration with prominent industry experts and stakeholders, will provide an in-depth analysis of the public relations industry, examining its growth, challenges, and emerging trends across Southeast Europe. The study aims to offer valuable insights and data to guide PR professionals, businesses, and organisations in their strategic decision-making processes.

The Southeast Europe region has witnessed significant developments in the field of public relations over the years. With a rich history of PR practices dating back several decades, the region has seen a steady growth in the adoption of modern communication techniques and the integration of digital media into PR strategies. As businesses increasingly recognise the importance of effective communication and reputation management, the demand for skilled PR professionals has surged.

Despite these advancements, the last comprehensive research into public relations across Southeast Europe was conducted several years ago. Recognising the need for up-to-date industry insights and a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by PR practitioners in the region, the PRCA Southeast Europe Network has taken the initiative to bridge this gap by launching this comprehensive research study.

  • The research will encompass a wide range of topics, including:
  • The evolving role of PR in the digital age
  • Measurement and evaluation practices in PR
  • Impact of social media on PR strategies
  • Key challenges and opportunities for PR professionals in Southeast Europe
  • Emerging trends and best practices in the industry

The study will be conducted through a survey, available in Bosnian, Croatian, English, Montenegrin, Serbian and Slovenian. Industry professionals, organisations, and stakeholders from across Southeast Europe are encouraged to participate and contribute to this landmark research, thereby ensuring its comprehensiveness and accuracy.

Commenting on the launch of the research, Danijel Koletić, Chairman of the PRCA Southeast Europe Network, said, " We are thrilled to initiate this research study, which will provide the first view of the opinion of experts and comprehensive assessment of the PR landscape in Southeast Europe. By gathering the most up-to-date information, we aim to empower PR professionals with valuable insights and contribute to the growth and development of the industry across the region."

The findings of the research will be shared through an extensive report and will be made available to the public and industry stakeholders. The PRCA Southeast Europe Network expects the report to serve as a valuable resource for professionals, organizations, and academic institutions, fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and further advancement of the PR industry in Southeast Europe.
