Sir Ephraim Mirvis, the Chief Rabbi, said yesterday that “This must be a moment that demands meaningful action from every institution, every community, every leader and every decent person in our country. This is a hatred that we must face down together.”

We are seeing an unprecedented increase in anti Jewish hate crime with this latest attack following the arson attack on ambulances and the attempted fire-bombing of two Jewish places of worship over the last few weeks.
As a result, it’s likely many of our Jewish colleagues are feeling anxious, scared or overwhelmed, so as with our message after the October terrorist attack on a synagogue in Manchester, we encourage you to check in on your Jewish colleagues and friends, even if it’s to simply ask them how they are.
Small acts of kindness and solidarity go a long way to help people feel less isolated in moments of fear.
