YPO joins PRCA as new member

The Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA) has today announced YPO as its latest corporate member.

YPO supplies products and services to a wide range of customers including schools, local authorities, charities, emergency services, public sector and other businesses, both in the UK and around the globe. Established in 1974 to aggregate the procurement spend of thirteen owing local authorities, YPO is 100% publicly owned. Across its 50-year heritage, YPO has helped drive public sector efficiency savings through its bulk buying power for product supplies and centralised contract services initiatives.

James Hewes, PRCA Chief Executive, said:

"We are thrilled to have YPO join PRCA as a corporate member. Their proactive efforts in driving efficiency and excellence within the public sector through innovative procurement solutions complement PRCA’s mission to uphold the highest standards in communications. YPO’s membership not only strengthens our collective expertise but also underscores our commitment to promoting impactful industry practices that benefit our global community.”

Gary Marsh, Head of Marketing and Digital at YPO said:

“As an organisation, YPO has previously benefitted indirectly from PRCA membership through the professional standards adhered to by our third-party agencies. Across 2024, we’re continuing to invest in our in-house Marketing team and our PRCA membership will support us in providing our internal team with additional tools and opportunities to flourish. Over the coming weeks and months, I know that my team will embrace the knowledge and guidance offered by PRCA, driving forward our internal professional standards in the process, to continue to deliver outstanding value within our Marketing and Communications activity.”
